Vertical machining center refers to the vertical machining center of the spindle. Most of its structural forms are fixed columns. The table is rectangular and has no index rotation feature. It is suitable for processing discs, sleeves and plates. It usually has three linear movements. The vertical machining center is easy to install, easy to operate, easy to observe the processing conditions, convenient program debugging and wide application. In severe cases, the cutter is damaged and the machining surface is damaged, which affects the smooth machining. .


Horizontal machining center refers to the machining center where the spindle is in a horizontal state. Usually, it has an auto-indexed rotation table. It usually has 3 to 5 motion coordinates. Typically, three linear motion coordinates and one rotational motion coordinate are completed after one load. The processing of the remaining four surfaces except for the mounting surface and the top surface is best suited for adding cassette components. Compared with the vertical machining center, the horizontal machining center is easy to remove chips in the machining process, which is favorable for machining, but the structure is complicated. The price is higher.
