However, the onset of bumps has certain rules to follow, which can be avoided, mainly the following points.


1, using computer simulation (copy) simulation system


With the development of computer technology, CNC machining education has been expanding, and more and more CNC machining simulation simulation systems have become more and more perfect. Therefore, it can be used to start the viewing process and observe the movement of the tool to determine (end) whether it is possible to bump.


2, using the simulation processing function (function) that comes with the CNC machining center


Generally, more advanced CNC machining centers have graphic display functions. After entering the program, you can call the graphic simulation display function, specifically observe the motion track of the tool (called the track) to see if the tool and the workpiece or fixture are likely to bump.


3, using the idle operation function of the CNC machining center


Use the empty running function of the CNC machining center to check whether the tool path is correct. After the program is input into the CNC machining center, you can load the tool or workpiece, and then press the dry run button (button). At this moment, the spindle does not rotate, and the workbench actively runs according to the program track. At this moment, you can find out whether the tool is likely to be with the workpiece or fixture. However, in this case, it is necessary to ensure that when the workpiece is mounted, the tool cannot be loaded; when the tool is loaded, the workpiece cannot be loaded, or a bump will occur.


4, using the CNC machining center lock (lock) function


General CNC machining centers have a locking function (full lock or single axis lock). When the program is input, the axis is locked, and the coordinate value of the Z axis can be used to determine whether a bump will occur. The use of this function should avoid (avoid) the operation of the tool change, or the program cannot pass.


5, the coordinate system, the setting of the tool compensation (setting) is necessary


When starting the CNC machining center, the CNC machining center reference point must be set. The CNC machining center working coordinate system should be consistent with the programming time, especially the axis direction. If the mistake is made, the possibility of the milling cutter colliding with the workpiece is very high. . In addition, the setting of the tool length compensation is necessary, otherwise it is either empty machining or a bump.


6, improve programming skills (technical)


Programming is a crucial part of CNC machining. Improving programming skills can largely avoid unnecessary bumps.
